Sarah Flisikowski started her Masters this September, co-supervised by Graham Whitelaw and Tristan Pearce on the GE3LS side of the BearWatch program.

Graham Whitelaw and Steve Lougheed traveled to Tuktoyaktuk NWT to present to members of the Inuvialuit Game Council, and seek input and insights into the objectives of BEARWATCH.

Peter van Coeverden de Groot presented an overview of the BearWatch project at Stellenbosch University, South Africa in March 2018.

As part of an invited forum for conservation – the Shanghai International Nature Conservation Festival, Steve presented on the importance of conserving large, charismatic megafauna like polar bears, and included a piece of the vision for BearWatch.
